There was 3 different camera shots
1.wide shot 
2.close up
3.over the shoulder 

The birds eye view was good when they where sending the call out for the doctor.The signal repeated whilst the camera shot went into a birds eye view. The camera angle changed the atmosphere. At 3:31 there is a low angle shot to show that he is helpless in that situation. He is running around frantically hoping that their plan doesn't fail. Therefore a low angle shot is sued to convey this as he is "weak" in this situation.

The man had clothes on so you could tell he was at work with the type of  clothes he had on.The connotations of setting this has one the audience is that the audience can tell that this is set in a time travel-like place. You can tell that in the show it is placed in a time of the present, future, past and everything in between.

  1)  The 'His Dark Materials' trailer meets the conventions of a TV drama series through the use of dramatic narrative, or narrative arc, which is when a specific story or plot line goes across the entire series. It also consists of an ensemble cast, meaning a range of different characters each with their own unique story lines or backstories. There are a variety of technical codes displayed throughout the trailer, including realistic lighting, different settings, point of view shots, dialogue voice overs, enigma and action codes throughout.
