 Pre-production: blog tasks


Create a blogpost called 'Pre-production' and work through the following tasks.


1) Script

Im going to do something about super powers . the super power will be mind reading . and it will start with someone being followed then them realising they are being followed and then i will end with a chase scene then getting caught then a conversation 



2) Shot list

i will have a over the shoulder shot when they are running . The camera will swirl into a circle and the scene will be a new setting . as they are running i will show lots of different angles and one of them will be them running over the camera .


3) Mise-en-scene

What iconography or mise-en-scene are you including to ensure your audience understands your drama as fantasy? Plan your cast, costume, make-up, props, lighting and setting. This can be simply completed using your blog or on a Google Doc - the key aspect is to have planned all the critical details. Remember the mise-en-scene mnemonic: CLAMPS. 

Costume:will be black outfits

Lighting / time of day:it will be around 12
 
Setting:will be fields and tress  


4) Shooting schedule 

i will be filming in the half term . The video will be in the day time . i will have 2-3 actors filing i will be recording and editing .

  1)  The 'His Dark Materials' trailer meets the conventions of a TV drama series through the use of dramatic narrative, or narrative arc, which is when a specific story or plot line goes across the entire series. It also consists of an ensemble cast, meaning a range of different characters each with their own unique story lines or backstories. There are a variety of technical codes displayed throughout the trailer, including realistic lighting, different settings, point of view shots, dialogue voice overs, enigma and action codes throughout. Additionally, there are a number of stereotypical 'stock' characters which help to get story lines across quickly. 2)  The genres that are suggested by the 'His Dark Materials' trailer include fantasy, as it seems to be set in an eerie and dystopian world filled with sinister characters including somewhat supernatural beings.   1) Write a summary of the notes from our in-class analysis of the episode. You can use your own notes from the screening in class or  this Google document of class notes  (you'll need your GHS Google login).  Camerawork and sound: Music - theme tune to Doctor Who. Very science-fiction - sets genre from beginning. graphics on screen: title of show and episode. Simple text/font.  Slow clunky camera movement (due to technology in 1960s).  Sound: hum of TARDIS (helps create science-fiction genre).
